1. Melissa Ledesma

Melissa Ledesma is an undergraduate art advisor for CSULB that I believe I’ve spoken with when I was having trouble transitioning to Studio Art, she’s a great resource that understands what must be done in order to get on the right path. She is a professional at what she does so she may be able to help further my understanding of my career.

2. Josh Reed

Josh Reed is an art professor at CSULB, I’ve had one class with him and whenever he gave demos he would talk about his experience with finding work as he had other positions that is not just teaching. I am greatly inspired by his work as I love his anatomy drawings.

3. Mané Kandalyan

A storyboard artist for Insomniac Games. I’ve always wondered what it is like to create storyboards outside of a classroom and if the work is similar to how it is in school.

5. lornvoid

An artist that I’ve been subscribed to that has recently started doing streams so it’s always nice to hop in every now and then inbetween work to see what’s happening. I’ve never thought of really putting myself out there and they seem to be friendly so they could possibly help me out.

Websites Used

LinkedIn has been a great incredible tool that allowed me to join multiple groups of people in my area to see what’s happening, it would be nice to meet them too as sometimes they would post if they’re going to an event near me.

Instagram is a great, great way to get in touch with many people as sending a direct message is very easy, only thing about it is that it seems intimidating. It also seems like the place to go to for if you already know someone so trying to find newer people may be a struggle.

Youtube is great as I get to understand the art world through others’ perspective, I also get to make a playlist for videos that I’ve also found incredibly helpful. Only problem is finding the right videos and the right people, I feel that reaching out through Youtube has also been difficult.
